YUNGBLUD and Aerosmith’s collab EP hits Number One in the UK charts
YUNGBLUD enjoys his second Number One of the year, meanwhile Aerosmith celebrate hitting the top spot for the first time ever!
“I was raised on stories of British artists…who went out and conquered America”: YUNGBLUD’s One More Time EP with Aerosmith has topped Billboard’s Rock & Alternative chart!
As well as going straight in at Number One in his home country, YUNGBLUD has just confirmed that he’s gotten his first-ever U.S. Top 10, too.
Dom and Aerosmith’s One More Time EP tops Billboard’s Rock & Alternative Albums chart, and unsurprisingly it’s yet another 2025 dream come true for the superstar.
“I was raised on stories of British artists like The Who, Led Zeppelin and Ozzy who went out and conquered America,” he says. “To be reaching those heights is mad.”
Huge congrats to Dom, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and everyone involved with this latest achievement!
Of course, also across the pond YUNGBLUD recently secured an impressive three GRAMMY nominations. “Someone told me yesterday that I’m the only British artist to receive three nominations in the Rock category ever, which is just completely unfathomable,” he admits. “I grew up in a guitar shop, I grew up on rock music. With [Idols] the goal was to lean into that love and lean into that passion and create an unfiltered, unadulterated rock album.”
In our review of Idols, we called it “a go-getter of a record that pays homage to the greats whilst still feeling brand new”, and also said that YUNGBLUD’s “guts, drive, and devotion to his craft cannot be denied”.
