London’s Barbican is hosting a new emo exhibition
I’m Not Okay: An Emo Retrospective is running from now until mid-January…
Having also written the theme tune, Patrick Stump will guest star as The Announcer in a new episode of Marvel’s Spidey And His Amazing Friends…
Fall Out Boy vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump has been involved with Marvel’s Spidey And His Amazing Friends for quite a while now, having composed the theme tune back in 2021… but he’s just graduated from composer and songwriter to an actual character in the show!
Patrick is set to guest as new character The Announcer in an episode titled Doc Ock & The Rocktobots (season 2, episode 13, part 2) – and Disney Junior have unveiled a first look at him in action, complete with specs, a hat and a leather jacket. During this episode, a new, Patrick-composed rock song called Watch Out will also be played, with the description of the episode explaining that: “Team Spidey runs up against villains trying to stop them from performing at a concert.”
Recently speaking to Kerrang! about how he juggles FOB and Spidey, Patrick explained, “You know, they’ve always co-existed really. I was doing the last season of the Spidey show when I was on the Hella Mega Tour, so it’s something I've figured out. It's like, what do you do on tour? Some people go out to dinner, some go and play other shows, some go sightseeing… I work on a TV show – that’s my thing! I play the show and then I go back and put my headphones on and get back to work.”

Fall Out Boy will hit the road with Bring Me The Horizon in the U.S. this summer, before heading over the UK and Europe later this year, in support of their upcoming album So Much (For) Stardust.
