Hear Patrick Stump on Catbite’s new single Tired Of Talk

Catbite have teamed up with Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump for a new single, Tired Of Talk.

The track is taken from the ska band’s forthcoming six-song release Doom Garden – which is due out on May 9 via Bad Time Records – and hears the FOB legend lending both his iconic voice and his trumpet skills.

“When we were writing, we felt this song would be the perfect opportunity to introduce a guest vocal,” says guitarist Tim Hildebrand. “At the top of our list of people to ask was Patrick Stump. Collectively, we are all huge fans of Fall Out Boy, and specifically Patrick’s vocal style. We knew it was a huge stretch, but we found a way to contact him, shared the song, and crossed our fingers and toes. By the miracle of ska, we got a reply from Patrick saying that he loved the song and would love to sing on it. He went above and beyond, and we are ecstatic on how this turned out!”

“Catbite is one of the real greats of this generation of ska music,” adds Patrick. “A wave that hasn’t even hit the beach yet. I was so amped to be asked to work with them and I can’t wait to see where they end up.”
