Fall Out Boy’s simply incredible So Much (For) Stardust World Tour may sadly be all wrapped up now, but Joe Trohman is continuing to celebrate the Chicago pop-punks’ latest chapter.
The guitarist has self-released a new photo book, entitled Goose Of Your Dreams, which features a wide array of snaps – taken entirely on film – from the band’s time on the road, specifically showcasing “the beauty in the weird that often goes unnoticed during the average daily routine”.
And it captures a genuinely triumphant chapter in the fantastic story of Fall Out Boy – indeed, Pete Wentz told us in summer 2024 of the Stardust cycle: “Personally, I was really, really nervous about the tour – honestly, because it was all going so smooth and everybody seemed to be a part of it! Sometimes it’s easier, to me, when there’s a little polarisation. When it goes so smoothly, it terrifies me! I was like, ‘Do people like it? Are they gonna not like it tomorrow? What will the next thing be?’ That was a little scary for me.
“But there were moments where the thing genuinely felt bigger than just being in the room. And that’s what it felt like in 2005 [during FOB’s first breakthrough]. Feeling both of those feelings, and thinking back, and trying to remember what it was like and being different, and having lived all this life… it’s been a very cool feeling.”
