After their hiatus in 2009, plenty of people thought that Fall Out Boy's reign as one of rock's most influential bands was over. It's not as though that would've been a defeat of any kind -- by then, Fall Out Boy had done more than most bands ever dream of, rising from Chicago's punk scene and becoming a massive musical institution the world over. But after a few years, the band not only returned -- they did so with gusto on 2013's aptly-titled Save Rock And Roll, and have reclaimed their throne several times over since.

In the latest episode of our podcast series Inside Track -- in which the startling real stories behind some of rock history's biggest moments are told by those who lived through them -- the members of Fall Out Boy talk about their 2009 hiatus, including the very honest reasons they needed to take a break. On top of that, the band give listeners an inside look at their new greatest hits compilation, Believers Never Die – Volume 2, walking through the tracks that matter most to them.
