Bon Jovi to release new collab album featuring Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, Joe Elliott and more
Bon Jovi will unveil the aptly-titled Forever (Legendary Edition) in October, with their Bruce Springsteen collab Hollow Man arriving this week.
At last night’s Philadelphia gig on the Even In Arcadia tour, Vessel put the Sleep Token spin on Bruce Springsteen’s classic Dancing In The Dark.
The U.S. leg of the Even In Arcadia tour continues to deliver the goods: after Sleep Token blew our minds headlining Louder Than Life just under a week ago, last night (September 24) in Philadelphia they put an extra-special spin on their show.
Almost exactly midway through the band’s 15-song setlist at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, mainman Vessel took to the piano to surprise fans by covering Bruce Springsteen’s classic Dancing In The Dark, before going into Take Me Back To Eden’s Rain – and of course, you can watch lots of footage shared online.
While there were no renditions of The Boss at Louder Than Life, Sleep Token did finish their epic set with Vessel playing guitar to Thread The Needle for the first time ever. In our review, we said of what went down on the night: “In front of such a dedicated audience, it feels even more all-consuming. And now the band have properly mastered what they’re working with here, the ups and downs of Look To Windward, The Offering and Vore become even more turbulent. Alkaline is a totem of emotion, while the way Caramel slides from it’s stadium-sized chorus to wrought ending where Vessel describes his ‘beautiful nightmare’ as if he’s about to explode into tears is a dramatic centrepiece in an emotional whirlpool…”
