Sleep Token just scored their first-ever Number One album

Just as predicted earlier in the week, Sleep Token have scored their first-ever Number One album (via Official Charts).
Following its release last Friday, May 9, Even In Arcadia has gone straight to the top spot thanks to a huge week of sales and streaming – surpassing Take Me Back To Eden, which went in at Number Three in 2023. As well as beating everyone in the UK’s Official Albums Chart, Even In Arcadia is also Number One in the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, too.
On top of that, the album’s title-track has landed at #31 in the Official Singles Chart, and second single Caramel has also gone back into the Top 40 at #33.
In Kerrang!’s 4/5 review of Even In Arcadia, we said that, “It isn’t quite an album of all-timers, but it’s more than enough to bring in wave after wave of gleaming gold spoils all over again. Crucially, of course, it’s something only Sleep Token could have made – and that is always a strength.”
