Green Day, The Prodigy, Amyl And The Sniffers, Speed and more for Coachella 2025
Green Day, the original Misfits, Amyl And The Sniffers, GEL and more are coming to the California desert in 2025…
Green Day are teasing new single Here Comes The Shock – which will debut during NHL Outdoors this Saturday.
Green Day are set to follow-up 2020's Father Of All… album with a brand-new single, Here Comes The Shock.
The track will arrive over the weekend when it premieres during February 20's NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe hockey game, before hitting streaming services the following day.
"Loud season has returned," the band say. "We’re stoked Here Comes The Shock will soundtrack the NHL's return to the outdoors!"

It's not clear yet if Here Comes The Shock is a leftover track from the Father Of All… sessions, or an entirely new song created in quarantine.
In April last year, Billie Joe Armstrong exclusively told Kerrang! that he'd already been writing fresh material in the coronavirus pandemic, with six songs in the works.
"I’ve been writing a lot of music, and I had all these melodies in my head, so I wrote, like, six songs since all of this has been going on," the frontman said. "I don’t know when I can get together with Mike [Dirnt, bass] and Tré [Cool, drums], but I told them to make sure that they’re quarantined for now, and then I hope down the road we can get back in the studio with [Father Of All… producer] Butch Walker."
Fingers crossed Here Comes The Shock is just the start of a whole new wave of Green Day material, then…
