Last night (September 30), Green Day played the final show of their absolutely epic Saviors Tour.

The punk rock legends hit Highland, California’s Yaamava’ Theater for a 23-song set – which actually featured the tour debut of Fancy Sauce from last year’s Saviors album – putting the bow on a whopping 90 shows between 2024 and 2025.

On Instagram, drummer Tré Cool reflected that it was, “Helluva run with the Saviors Tour! Thanks for all the crew who put the show together and make everything go off super hard every night! Thanks to the Idiot Nation – Our friends. Thanks to every band we have had the pleasure of playing with. Thanks to all of their friends and families for trusting your loved ones with the likes of us. And most of all thank you to Sal Saperstein.”

Two nights before, at Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong took to Instagram to write: “Ohana!!!!! What a perfect way to end the saviors tour. I can’t believe it’s coming to an end.”

According to setlist.fm, The Saviors Tour saw Green Day play 45 gigs each per year – 34 of which were in the United States, followed by six in Germany, and five in the United Kingdom, including this year’s debut headline set at Download Festival.

Before the Download show, we asked Billie Joe if there was a temptation to keep the Saviors era going once all these tour dates were done.

“I think we’ll be done by the end of this year,” he told Kerrang!. “It’s a good time, and we’re not gonna try to do anything like a victory lap or be overbearing, or cash in, in any way. It’s like, ‘This has been a really great time for us, and so let’s leave it at a great time and then go home.’ And get back to being bored!”

Well, they’ve certainly earned it…
