Good Charlotte have unveiled their own spin on The Pogues’ Fairytale Of New York, because, as the pop-punks say, “We love Christmas and the holidays.” Awwww!

From The Pretty Reckless’ Christmas EP to Fall Out Boy doing The Muppet Christmas Carol and Poppy covering Wham!, we’ve already been treated to some fantastic festive bangers in 2025. And now Good Charlotte are getting into the holiday spirit!
The returning pop-punks – fresh from the release of August comeback album Motel Du Cap – have tackled The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl’s classic Fairytale Of New York, obviously adding a pop-punk spin on one of the greatest Christmas songs ever.
“This has always been one of our favourite Christmas songs of all time!” they say. “What a classic story. We have always wanted to do our own little version of it with our friends and family for years to come. We love Christmas and the holidays, so it was really fun to make another Christmas song to add to our favourite Christmas playlist – happy holidays from GC to you and yours!”
