Poppy has covered Wham! classic Last Christmas

Following last week’s Pretty Reckless Christmas news, Poppy is the next in line to get in the festive spirit nice and early this year.

For Spotify Singles, the enigmatic artist has unveiled a cover of Wham!’s 1984 classic Last Christmas, produced by frequent collaborator Jordan Fish. The song follows September’s killer collab with Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante, End Of You, which Poppy previously described as “a dark Moulin Rouge, like Lady Marmalade”. She also guested on BABYMETAL’s 2025 album METAL FORTH, with their joint single – from me to u – then appearing in the Marvel Zombies trailer. Safe to say, then, it’s been another incredibly productive time for Poppy.
