Now he’s back home after My Chemical Romance’s incredible reunion
tour, Frank Iero is having a big clear-out.
The guitarist has just launched an official online Reverb store,
featuring all sorts of gear from his My Chem years as well as his many other
projects – from a Black Parade era Fender Telecaster that he played while touring
that record and even used on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, to his first-ever
bass from the .joyriding. video with frnkiero andthe cellabration.
Other notable bits include a the “holy grail” of bass cabinets,
the Ampeg 8x10, which was originally owned by Frank’s bandmate Mikey Way before
being gifted to him, and an Orange 4x12 Guitar Cabinet which was used at “quite a
few” gigs: “Originally painted for Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous
Killjoys,” he says, “this cab was stage used in MCR for the full run of that
record cycle until the band's last show in 2012. Later, the cabinet was painted
over black and pink and used in all three [of my] solo incarnations.”
