My Chemical Romance have just released a 2005 BBC performance of I’m Not Okay

A 20-year-old My Chemical Romance performance of their classic single I’m Not Okay (I Promise) from BBC Radio 1’s The Lock Up has hit streaming, and it looks like a deluxe edition of Three Cheers… is on the way!

Out of nowhere… My Chemical Romance have just officially released a 2005 performance of I’m Not Okay (I Promise).

The band have uploaded the 20-year-old run-through from BBC Radio 1’s The Lock Up to Spotify, YouTube etc, with some snazzy new Three Cheers… cover art to boot. And not only is it an absolutely awesome throwback treat, but the YouTube description reveals that the track is taken from the band’s Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition) – so as soon as we have more info on that, we’ll let you know.

Three Cheers… will be celebrating its 21st birthday on June 8, and of course the band are back in action in 2025 – albeit for The Black Parade.
