My Chemical Romance have uploaded Over Fields – The National Anthem of Draag from their current North American mega-tour.

After kicking off their sold-out stadium run at T-Mobile Park in Seattle on July 11, the New Jersey emo heroes have taken to YouTube and their social media channels to share online the official song that plays out before they hit the stage and launch into The Black Parade in its entirety. The track goes by the name Over Fields, and it’s The National Anthem of Draag – we’re still waiting to find out exactly what that means, whether it’s simply just the concept of the whole tour, or if it’s (hopefully) all building towards something bigger.

The lyrics to Over Fields read: ‘Over fields that light the fire in our hearts that burns true / Under wheels of might we cherish our skies never blue / Like a baby’s fists are broken / Then grow strong enough to choose / To pick up the sword and strike the heart of doom / We in Draag have learned to prosper in the gloom / Over fields we live to die under the gloom.’
