With this year’s Rituals all done and dusted, Download Festival are teasing that Sleep Token fans can “witness the next chapter” at Donington in 2025…
Last week, Sleep Token spectacularly wrapped up their 2024 Rituals with a final date at London’s massive The O2 on December 3. But it sounds like they’ve already got big plans for 2025, too…
Of course, we already know that Vessel and co. will be making their Download headline debut at Donington Park next June (as well as Germany’s Rock im Park and Rock am Ring that month – their only confirmed shows so far next year).
And the UK rock and metal weekender has shared a new Sleep Token teaser video online, featuring footage from the band’s recent tour as well as the most intriguing bit of all – it says the words: “Witness the next chapter.”
It also lines up with the fact that, earlier this year, Sleep Token left Spinefarm and signed to RCA Records, with the label writing, “Welcome to the new era.” Does all this mean we’ll be getting a follow-up to Take Me Back To Eden next year, possibly even in time for Download?!

Summing up their final Rituals and in particular that second London date, Sleep Token said last week: “Sacred moments in time, etched in our hearts and minds for eternity. London, the night belonged to you.
“And so concludes the 2024 Rituals. The collective extends its gratitude to followers one and all, until our paths meet again. Now, they rest.”
