Nandi Bushell has revealed that a BBC documentary all about her life and musical journey so far will be airing this Friday, April 4 on iPlayer.

The 14-year-old sensation will be the subject of CBBC’s My Life – a series that follows ‘the highs and lows of children across the world, each with a unique story to tell’. In Nandi’s case, that of course involves that iconic drum battle with Dave Grohl, performing live with Foo Fighters, releasing music with Tom Morello and so much more.

Nandi shares that she was filmed over the past year for a catch-up on her life, revealing in a trailer that her “ultimate goal” is performing her own original material to big crowds one day. “Can I move on from being the cute kid drummer?” she asks. “Can I write good songs that connect with an audience? And will I be successful on my new path in music?”
