Following a string of intimate shows with new drummer Ilan Rubin, Foo Fighters hit Glendale, California’s East End Studios last week for another unique performance for Amazon Music Live.
The rock titans livestreamed an 11-song set on Prime Video, Amazon Music and Twitch following Thursday Night Football, playing in-the-round and with no stage to create a similar vibe to their usual rehearsal set-up, according to Dave Grohl (via Consequence).
They opened with All My Life – which you can watch below – before playing staples like Times Like These, My Hero and Learn To Fly, and a couple of curveballs: Medicine At Midnight’s No Son Of Mine, and Nothing At All from 2023’s incredible latest album But Here We Are.
There was no live debut of new single Asking For A Friend, but the Foos are doing another small show tonight (November 3) at The Nile Theater in Bakersfield, so watch this space…
