YUNGBLUD: “I made a f*cking rock opera double album”
Having been busy putting together the line-up for next year’s Bludfest, YUNGBLUD has revealed he’s also been working on music that “looks like it’s going to be a double album”.
YUNGBLUD will be livestreaming a concert today in the wake of his shows being postponed due to coronavirus.
Following in the footsteps of Code Orange over the weekend, YUNGBLUD has just announced that he'll be livestreaming a show today (Monday, March 16) at 2pm GMT / 7am PST in light of the many unfortunate tour postponements due to coronavirus.
"The world is in a very weird time at the moment," he says. "Everyone doesn’t know what to do or where to turn. it’s like we are all trapped in a glass or perspex box whilst someone is playing a trick on us. My shows were getting cancelled left right and centre.

"I miss the energy, I miss the connection, I miss my fans and family," he continues. "We need each other more than ever right now and having the opportunity to interact with them taken away from me fully wasn’t even an option for me! We’re holding an online concert Monday 7am PDT earliest show of my life. See you there!!!"
In a video announcing the show, YUNGBLUD also confirmed that Machine Gun Kelly, Bella Thorne, and Oliver Tree will also be appearing, so stay tuned…
Discussing his explosive live shows with Kerrang! recently, YUNGBLUD stressed that he hoped to make his gigs a safe space for all in attendance.
“I want to take this to the biggest rooms and make everyone present feel like they belong, because all I’ve ever wanted is to belong somewhere," he explained.
“I see myself in these people – that was me at a My Chemical Romance concert. I used to think it wasn’t alright for me to be who I am, and I got so low that I contemplated suicide. I never want anyone to go through what I did.”
