IDLES drop new POP POP POP remix featuring Danny Brown
After performing POP POP POP with Danny Brown at Glastonbury over the summer, IDLES have just unleashed a new remix featuring the Detroit rap icon.
IDLES have shared the trailer for their upcoming documentary, Don't Go Gentle.
There's a new IDLES single out in the world, and now the Bristol punks have confirmed that an upcoming documentary is coming incredibly soon, too.
Don't Go Gentle: A Film About IDLES is set to begin streaming from June 1 for two weeks, with a description of the movie explaining that it's "about finding strength in vulnerability".

"It journeys through IDLES' determination, friendship and adversity as they fight for a place in a divided socio-political environment, unexpectedly inspiring and unifying an international community along the way," it reads.
As frontman Joe Talbot says in the video: "People need inclusivity and they need community, and they need a feeling of acceptance through imperfection."
Yep, this is gonna be great. Check out the trailer below:
As well as the release of Don't Go Gentle, we can probably expect to find out more information about IDLES' upcoming third album soon, too.
As far as progress goes, the follow-up to 2018’s Joy As An Act Of Resistance was in the process of being mixed back in December, with producers Nick Launay, Adam ‘Atom’ Greenspan and Kenny Beats working on it.
“IDLES are the best band in the whole world,” enthused Kenny. “That’s what I said to them. I think this is a good lesson for anybody else who is pigeonholed or pushed into doing what they do best and only that. I heard IDLES and was like, ‘This is all I want to work on; this is all I want to do. These guys are the best.’ I got into their DMs and told them that and luckily we got to meet, and the proof is in the pudding. I care so much and I think they can tell. It has nothing to do with anybody knowing we’re working together, or money, or anything. I love what they’re doing I want to be a part so now everyone knows I’m a part of it.”
