Green Day, The Prodigy, Amyl And The Sniffers, Speed and more for Coachella 2025
Green Day, the original Misfits, Amyl And The Sniffers, GEL and more are coming to the California desert in 2025…
The pop-punk kings showed their pizza-making skills with some celebrity guests.
Last Friday, Green Day released their latest album, Father of All Motherfuckers to critical acclaim. To promote it, the band appeared on The Ellen Show and made pizza alongside guest hosts Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. Martha led the artists through preparing snacks for an Oscars viewing party.
“Have you ever heard about too many chefs in the kitchen?” Snoop Dogg said.
Pizza-making wasn't necessarily new for Green Day -- as a teenager, Billie Joe Armstrong worked in a pizza restaurant, so he was prepared for the first part of the cooking session. “The hard part was,” he said, “was I dropped out of high school, and so I got this job at the pizza place so all the kids used to come over, all my friends used to come over and I used to give them pizza during lunchtime at school.”

The gang also made pigs-in-a-blanket, drank cocktails, and toasted Father of All… Martha and Billie Joe discussed the album artwork, which he designed, before the band performed their latest single, Oh Yeah!.
Green Day got away with the album’s full uncensored title, Father of All Motherfuckers, through some creative artwork on the part of Billie Joe. “I did the artwork and I scribbled ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’ on the American Idiot album cover,” Armstrong explained to Kerrang!. “Someone said, ‘You’re never going to be able to get ‘Motherfuckers’ on there,’ and I go, ‘Well, just make everybody happy and just put a fucking unicorn on it!’ And then I drew a unicorn and put it over it. So it’s kind of funny, because the unicorn has become this icon.”
