Aerosmith have retired from touring, cancel farewell shows
Hard rock legends Aerosmith have retired from the stage due to Steven Tyler’s ongoing vocal injury.
Paying tribute to The Prince Of Darkness, YUNGBLUD joined Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt to play a triumphant Ozzy Osbourne medley…
YUNGBLUD teamed up with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt for an epic Ozzy medley at last night’s 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
The all-star band performed a seven-minute cover comprised of Crazy Train, Changes and Mama, I’m Coming Home in honour of The Prince Of Darkness. Of course, YUNGBLUD had also covered Changes at July’s incredible Back To The Beginning gig, and after Ozzy’s death, he said that it was “truly my life’s greatest honour and I vow to play this song every night for the rest of my life”
Last August, Aerosmith sadly retired from touring due to Steven Tyler’s 2023 vocal injury – “We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing. As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other…” they said in a statement. Happily, as you can hear in the performance below, he’s sounding absolutely incredible at the moment.
