Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg says Nandi Bushell is "always crushing it" following her awesome new cover of Duality…
After wowing the likes of Muse, Tom Morello, and most notably in 2020, Dave Grohl, young drumming star Nandi Bushell has now impressed Slipknot's Jay Weinberg with an awesome (masked) cover of Duality.
"It's true, one of my favourite bands so far is Slipknot," says Nandi, who turned 11 in April. "I love drumming with double pedals. It's so satisfying!
"Both Jay [Weinberg] and Joey Jordison are awesome drummers. But I really, really love Jay's playing! True fact, I actually listen to Slipknot when I go to bed at night. I am wearing a Jay [Weinberg] mask made by Joel! Thank you Joel!"

After seeing the cover, Jay responded on Twitter, "You're the best, Nandi!! Always crushing it!" which we couldn't agree more with.
Over the past few months, Nandi has also covered the likes of My Chemical Romance's Welcome To The Black Parade, Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song and Muse's Hysteria. And, of course, there's also the small matter of her and Dave Grohl agreeing to write a song together – so watch this space…
