Album review: Sinsaenum – In Devastation
Joey Jordison’s metal supergroup Sinsaenum turn mourning into defiance on thrilling third album.
Is that Anders Colsefni we can hear?! Check out Slipknot’s special demo version of Me Inside.
Slipknot have just unleashed a demo version of Me Inside.
Taken from the forthcoming 25th anniversary edition of their iconic self-titled debut album – which is due out on September 5 via Roadrunner – this new/old track includes some entirely different lyrics in the second verse, as well as apparent growls by the band’s former vocalist Anders Colsefni (they’re not officially credited anywhere, but fans online certainly suggest they can hear Anders in there).
In our original review of Slipknot from the year it was released, we proclaimed that, ‘Slipknot is the essential sound of 1999. ‘You can't kill me ’cause I'm already inside you,’ Corey gloats on opener (sic). One listen to Slipknot and you’ll have the horrible realisation that he’s right.’
