Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
Slipknot are bringing things back to where it all began with this year’s Knotfest Iowa – where they’ll be celebrating 25 years of their self-titled debut.
Fresh from a pair of killer – albeit very different – shows at Pappy + Harriett’s and Sick New World in the past few days, Slipknot have just announced 2024’s Knotfest Iowa line-up.
The band will be making their return to the festival this time around, headlining the bill following sets on the day from the likes of Till Lindemann, Knocked Loose, Hatebreed, Poison The Well, GWAR, Vended, Dying Wish, ZULU and more.
And they’ll also be bringing the self-titled celebrations with ’em, honouring 25 years of their debut onstage as well as at this year’s newly-revamped Knotfest Museum – which, according to a press release, will ‘feature a jaw-dropping collection of artefacts from the band’s history, making this a can’t miss opportunity for fans’.
Knotfest Iowa takes place on Saturday, September 21 at Waterworks Park in the band’s home city of Des Moines. Tickets go on sale at 10am CT this Friday, May 3.
