Slipknot’s countdown timer ended to reveal 100 ‘blood-filled’ vinyl box sets

Several weeks on from launching a cryptic countdown timer related to their 1999 debut album, the first of Slipknot’s 25th anniversary vinyl drops has been unveiled (and, naturally, sold out instantly).

The Iowa crew shared an incredibly limited run of 100 ‘blood-filled’ vinyl box sets celebrating their legendary debut, with the $249.99 six-LP drop including new artwork, unseen imagery, a total of 59 recordings and more.

Of course, that’s left millions of maggots disappointed – but fear not! The aforementioned mysterious website is still active, and it teases that there are still 1,899 variants on the way (there was originally a total of 1999 – the year the record was released, obvs).

The ’global drop’ is happening today, July 22 at 3pm NY, 12pm LA, 8pm UK and 9pm EU time, and based on the blood-filled vinyl, you’d better be quick…
