Sleep Token deliver the goods at their huge Ritual in Glasgow last night – here’s what went down…
Last night, Sleep Token kicked off their mammoth UK arena tour at a jam-packed OVO Hydro in Glasgow. Marking the band's first shows on these shores since their Wembley Arena headliner last year, this wintry trek across England, Scotland and Wales will hit the biggest arena's the UK has to offer including Co-op Live in Manchester and two nights at The O2 in London.
With thousands of die-hard Sleep Token fans gathered in worship in Glasgow last night, Vessel and his masked merry men delivered a sermon of sixteen songs, cherrypicked from all three LPs, including The Offering, Alkaline and Chokehold.
Complete with stunning live show and various interludes, this was the grandest, most emphatic Ritual we've seen from the anonymous collective yet. And probably just a taste of what's in store when they headline Download Festival next year.
