Employed To Serve’s Justine Jones and Svalbard’s Serena Cherry have covered Slipknot because… well… it’s Valentine’s Day.
The two musicians carefully selected “the most romantic song”, Disasterpiece, for the big love occasion today, with the Iowa classic of course featuring beautiful lines like, ‘I wanna slit your throat and fuck the wound,’ and, ‘My wormwood meets your pesticide.’
Of course, we chatted to Justine about her love of Corey Taylor and co. last year, with Employed To Serve’s leader revealing that at school she was a “total mosher kid” and quite literally had the nickname Slipknot Girl. ETS have also covered Purity in the past, and guitarist Sammy Urwin enthused that he was “obsessed with Slipknot” growing up.
