RØRY is back with another typically powerful single entitled the apology I’ll never receive.
Speaking about the incredibly personal meaning behind the song, she explains, “I have spent years waiting for my father to say sorry. I felt like I couldn’t move on from the pain without some kind of acknowledgement. I have been desperate for it… eventually I decided to write it myself. And that is this song.
“There are so many people out there who have been shamed, and scapegoated by their own families,” RØRY adds. “I truly hope this can be healing for them to hear.”
