RØRY is on course for a Top 10 album with RESTORATION

The Official Charts have revealed that RØRY’s debut album is on course to land in the UK Top 10.

The 4/5-rated RESTORATION was released last Friday, and in the midweeks it’s looking as though it could hit as high as Number 4. Yes!!

Before they announced the record, RØRY joked to Kerrang! last year that she was so set on achieving a Top 40 that she would drive around the country with her partner Rich, selling vinyl copies out of their car boot, if necessary.

“I love doing what you can’t do and what you’re told is impossible,” RØRY enthused. “What I’ve been told is impossible is it going Top 40. It would need to sell 4,000, and people are like, ‘There’s no way. You can’t do it independent.’ I get that it’s highly unlikely, but I’m gonna try. I know that I can meet 4,000 people. So I’m currently in that: just the absolute delusion of a crazy goal!

“But what I’ve learned in the last few years is that it’s the people crazy enough to believe in delusion that can sometimes make it become reality.”

Happily, it looks like that’s absolutely proving to be the case! C’mon, RØRY…
