Almost a year ago now, Parkway Drive announced that, when they were to return to Europe and the UK for their 20th anniversary celebrations in 2025, they’d be taking their show to a “new extreme”.
Well, Winston McCall and co. clearly aren’t liars. Kicking off their epic latest tour in Germany before venturing to Austria, over these past few nights the Aussie metal titans unleashed a fantastic, career-spanning setlist (opening with Carrion?! C’mon!) and the most jaw-dropping production in heavy music – somehow both stunningly theatrical and incredibly fucking metal at the same time.
To get us excited for next month’s UK arena shows, the band sent us a bunch of photos from the opening dates of the tour in Leipzig, Munich and Vienna. Just marvel at all this…
