Panic! At The Disco have just announced a massive 20th anniversary reissue of A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.
Having played what was believed to be their final show in 2023 but reunited onstage over the weekend at When We Were Young to celebrate 20 years of their beloved 2005 debut, the band are keeping the nostalgia going with a planned 2026 release.
Though fans weren’t sure if there would be a full-on comeback after When We Were Young, there had been signs they would continue the celebrations. The password-protected website fever20.panicatthedisco.com invited people to check into the Fever Motel, and a countdown under the ‘booking’ section said: ‘Booking open to the general public on Monday, October 20 at 9am PT. Check in any time you like, but we can’t promise you’ll want to leave.’
Now Panic! have revealed exactly what all that was about, with a boxset coming early next year featuring a remastered copy of AFYCSO, plus 11 unreleased demos and 2006’s Live In Denver on vinyl for the first time ever! They’re also set to premiere Live In Denver in full on YouTube later today (October 20), so tune in below.
Let’s watch this space if there’s anything else still to come, too – their main website panicatthedisco.com does have a ‘tour’ tab that says, ‘There are no upcoming events.’ But maybe one day?!
