PinkPantheress samples a Panic! At The Disco deep cut on her new single, Tonight
Watch the video for PinkPantheress’ new single Tonight, which samples Panic! At The Disco’s Pretty. Odd. track Do You Know What I’m Seeing?
As well as playing the album in full at When We Were Young next month, Panic! At The Disco tease that there are A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out anniversary box sets on the way.
Panic! At The Disco have taken to social media to tease a “proper celebration” for A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.
Their iconic 2005 debut celebrated its 20th anniversary on Saturday, September 27, and as well as playing it in full (twice!) at next month’s When We Were Young festivals, there’s more to come.
P!ATD write: “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out turns another year older today (that’s two decades for those keeping score at home).
“It started when four kids skipped their high school graduation, piled into a van, and drove from Vegas to Maryland to turn a dream into a record. Finishing the album alone felt like a victory, and no one knew if anyone would listen. The fact that you’re still pressing play all these years later is something else entirely. Thank you.
“20 years deserves a proper celebration! Anniversary box sets, packed with memories and more, are on the way. Sit tight, I’m going to need you to keep time.”
Panic! frontman Brendon Urie returned to the stage for the first time in nearly two years back in February, for the I Love LA Eaton fire relief concert. His band haven’t played live since March 10, 2023, when they performed at Manchester’s AO Arena on the final night of the Viva Las Vengeance tour. Of course, two months before that, the singer announced that he was going to “bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more.
“Thank you all for your immense support over the years,” Brendon added. “I’ve sat here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I truly can’t put into words how much it has meant to us. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you.”
