Since its launch in 2022, When We Were Young has quickly become the must-see event for emo and pop-punk fans of… well… a certain vintage.

Previous bashes have seen the likes of My Chemical Romance, Paramore and Green Day headline the Las Vegas Festival Grounds with distinct setlists, and this year was no exception in terms of the special stakes: pop-punk kings blink-182 returned with a performance celebrating Enema Of The State, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, their self-titled album and more, and they were joined at the top of the bill by a returning Panic! At The Disco tearing through 2005’s iconic A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, plus a ton of career-spanning bangers.

Below them, the likes of Weezer, Avril Lavigne, The Offspring, Knocked Loose, The Gaslight Anthem, Simple Plan, Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White, Beartooth, PVRIS, Alexisonfire, Don Broco, Taylor Acorn and last-minute band Holding Boundaries (aka Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland joined by Boundaries because of visa issues in the HA camp) got nostalgic in Sin City – here’s what just some of this weekend’s fun looked like…
