Listen: Slipknot unleash raging new single, The Chapeltown Rag

While they never really went away, Slipknot are nevertheless back!

As promised, the Iowa titans have today (November 5) unleashed their first new music since 2019 album We Are Not Your Kind. Titled The Chapeltown Rag, the crushing single has been described by frontman Corey Taylor as a "punisher", telling the band's Knotfest enterprise that, "It's classic Slipknot. And it's frenetic.

"But lyrically, it's coming from a point of talking about the various manipulations that can happen when social media meets media itself. And the different ways that these manipulations can try to pull us in different directions, in the fact that we're all becoming addicts to it, which is very, very dangerous."

The band are set to debut The Chapeltown Rag live tonight at Knotfest Los Angeles – which is also being livestreamed from the Banc Of California Stadium.
