Linkin Park, YUNGBLUD, Sleep Token, Hayley Williams, Ghost and more among GRAMMY noms
The 2026 GRAMMY nominations are here, with Linkin Park, YUNGBLUD, Sleep Token, Hayley Williams, Ghost, Turnstile, Deftones and even more set to battle it out…
Few details have been confirmed right now, but the band has tweeted its intention to hold a “special public event”.
The death of Chester Bennington in July rocked many around the world. Now, the band he fronted, Linkin Park, has announced plans for a public event to honour the late singer.
Beginning with a thank you for all the support, the outpouring of love, that they’ve received, the band (specifically bassist and vocalist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, it seems) goes on to state:
“We are working on a special public event in Los Angeles to honour Chester’s memory, and look forward to sharing details with you soon.”
We’ll be keeping our eyes on this one, obviously. Meantime, there’s never a bad time to listen back to where it all started for Linkin Park, 2000’s short-but-sweet debut album Hybrid Theory.
