Hear a heavy snippet of Halsey's new Nine Inch Nails-produced album

Since learning that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross would be producing Halsey's upcoming fourth album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, we've been so desperate to hear what kind of impact the Nine Inch Nails men will have. And, based on a recently-discovered snippet from the record, it sounds like things could be going in a relatively heavy direction…

So far, all that has officially been released is a track potentially titled All Of This Is Temporary playing over the top of the epic trailer for If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’s accompanying theatrical film. And while that sounded cool in its own right, @HalseyUpdates have shared on Twitter a new snippet that'll likely be of more interest to NIN fans.

The snippet came about through a new online game, LXXXXP, which is a choose-your-own-adventure style endeavour that can result in several different outcomes. According to @HalseyUpdates, "If your destiny is "YOU DROWNED IN A FREEZING LAKE" you hear this snippet from [If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power]."

The 21-second teaser then plays this enticingly heavy piece of music from the New Jersey pop star…
