Hayley Williams: “It wasn’t time to make another Paramore record, but I had a lot of sh*t to say”
In a new interview, Hayley Williams has explained the “cycle” of Paramore and why the band often need to take breaks.
Having uploaded new solo album Ego to her website, Hayley Williams has now deleted everything and left the message: “Hello, there. Thank you for listening.”
In yet another very cool and cryptic move, Hayley Williams has already removed her new solo album Ego.
The Paramore superstar surprised fans with 17 new songs this week over at hayleywilliams.net – as well as an accompanying new hair dye shade of the same name with her Good Dye Young brand – but if you weren’t one of the lucky ones with a code to download all this new music in time, well… tough. The music is all gone, and a message now appears simply reading: “Hello, there. Thank you for listening.”
Of course, thousands of fans are calling for Ego to be uploaded to streaming services, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for that (having said that, Hayley doing all these unconventional things is extremely badass, so who actually knows what’s going to happen).
