Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
Watch "badass" drumming grandma Dorothea Taylor cover Paramore and Slipknot.
Earlier in the year, the internet was suitably impressed when Dorothea Taylor unveiled a cover of Disturbed's Down With The Sickness, with Kerrang! praising the drumming grandma for "casting off stereotypes about who can slay on the drums and who can’t".
And now, with the continued popularity of TikTok, Dorothea – who has been drumming for an incredible 56 years – is even catching the attention of fellow rock musicians, with Paramore's Hayley Williams checking out her recent play-along to the band's huge self-titled album single Ain't It Fun. "Love her, she's a badass," enthused Hayley of the 50-second video, which was shared on Twitter by a fan.

Elsewhere, Dorothea has also recently channeled her inner Joey Jordison and covered Slipknot's Psychosocial – though she seemingly has pretty eclectic taste and will tackle all sorts of genres on her channel, as well being a member of a "classic rock/new country band currently called Badlander", and "All City Choir that does three big concerts a year" according to Drum Magazine.
Previously, the drummer has inspired others by stating: "Drummers come in all ages, sizes, shapes, ethnicities… and regardless of how good you are, how old you are, we're all still part of a drumming family. So remember: don't judge a drummer, or anybody, by their looks, and always, always, always keep sharing your drumming passion with the world."
Hell yeah.
