Not content with taking over the UK and hitting Number One with recent album Saviors, Green Day are already back across the pond for more.

The band’s side-project The Coverups – who feature frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt, plus other members from their crew including touring guitarist Jason White – have just announced two tiny London shows happening in the coming days.

Up first they’ll be heading to north London for a night at The Garage in Highbury & Islington on February 27. Then, they’ll be more central, playing the iconic 100 Club on Oxford Street on March 1. At both shows, they’ll be joined by Lovebreakers.

In the summer, of course, Green Day will be back for some significantly bigger dates as part of The Saviors Tour, where they’ll be playing Dookie and American Idiot in full (plus more). Get your tickets now.
