The Hella Mega Tour bands hit Good Morning America earlier today (July 16) to give fans a teaser of what to expect from these long-awaited shows.

Fall Out Boy performed Uma Thurman while Weezer unveiled their 2020 single Hero – which also came out on this year's awesome Van Weezer album. Headliners Green Day didn't play, but frontman Billie Joe Armstrong joined Rivers Cuomo for an interview before the two songs.

When asked what he’s most looking forward to about being back onstage in front of a live audience, Billie Joe said, “I’m just looking forward to playing again. We’ve been planning this tour for two years now and we got derailed into lockdown, and it’ll just be nice to do what I love doing! I love playing live, and it’s the biggest tour of the summer with three really fun bands, so it should be great.”

Plus, for fans in America, Green Day and their Oakland Coffee have just unveiled the Live Music Is Back sweepstakes, giving one lucky winner and a guest two tickets to see the Hella Mega Tour in Los Angeles on September 3, plus two round-trip flights and a two-night stay at a luxury hotel, $500 in spending money, and an Oakland Coffee gift bundle!
