Pupil Slicer reveal first UK headline shows of 2025 – and they’re going to be “in-your-face”

Even more names have been added to April’s Takedown Festival, along with stage splits – so you can already get planning now!
Another new Takedown Festival line-up announcement has landed!
Newly-added bands and artists for 2024 include two K! cover stars from this year – Deijuvhs and Pupil Slicer – plus Acres, The Hara, Calva Louise, Blanket and more.
The Portsmouth bash – which takes place from April 13 – 14 at the Guildhall – have also confirmed stage splits and times, and revealed that On Wednesdays We Wear Black will be comperes for the main stage across the whole weekend.
“We are excited to unveil the day splits and announce a new wave of bands that will be joining the Takedown 2024 line-up,” enthuse Takedown’s Kai and Sarah Harris, “including the addition of On Wednesdays We Wear Black podcast as our main stage comperes.
“Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of the metal, alternative, and rock genres remains unwavering, and we are confident that we have crafted a distinctive line-up for this year’s event.”
