Empire State Bastard have announced their own mini metal festival

It’s a big summer for Empire State Bastard, with appearances scheduled at the likes of 2000trees and Glasgow’s core. Festival, but the duo are adding to the chaos with the unveiling of their very own mini metal festival.

The aptly-titled Bastard Fest will take place in Sheffield on July 13, and will see Simon Neil and Mike Vennart joined by some of the UK’s best young heavy bands: Heriot, Conjurer, Pupil Slicer and Hidden Mothers.

Tickets go on general sale this Thursday, June 20 from 10am.

After that, you can also see Simon and Mike with Biffy Clyro – the rock legends will be playing Halifax’s The Piece Hall and Victorious Festival in Southsea this August, before doing some very special album-in-full shows in London and Glasgow later on in the year.
