Knotfest Australia to take “short break” next year, returning in 2027
Knotfest-goers down under won’t be getting a festival in 2026 – but the following year promises to be “the best Knotfest Australia yet”.
Slipknot’s European tour kicks off tonight (June 7), but Clown has announced he won’t be there as he’ll be staying at home to support his wife.
Slipknot will kick off their European tour tonight (June 7), but Clown has taken to social media to announce that sadly he’s sitting these shows out.
The musician will be staying at home as he’ll be “supporting my wife through some health issues”, and has added that, “I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.”
Read his short statement below:
“Hello to all of our fans, it’s the clown. I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.
“We’ve been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support. See all of you very soon.
“Thank you.

Kerrang! would like to send our love to Clown and his wife at this time.
