Travis Barker reveals he’s recorded two albums in the past two months
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been very busy in the studio since the band got back from tour…
Due to Travis Barker’s recent finger injury, blink-182 have announced the postponement of their South America and Mexico shows in March and April.
With Travis Barker undergoing surgery this week for a nasty looking injury to his ring finger, blink-182 are pushing back their first round of tour dates.
The pop-punk legends – who last year reunited with former frontman Tom DeLonge – have sadly had to move their South America and Mexico shows to 2024, while Travis heals.
At the time of writing, it seems as though blink’s first show back will now be at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN on May 4.
In a heartfelt video on his Instagram account, Tom apologised to fans and reiterated that they will be back: “We are coming,” he said (transcribed by Kerrang!). “I know it seems like you’ve waited so long – which you have. And we’ve waited too. This is just devastating on so many levels. But we’re gonna get Travis better, we’re gonna come down – the three of us, together – and we’re gonna rock, and we’re gonna have an incredible time with you guys. But I really want you to know, from my heart to yours, how important you guys are to us, and this is not something that we could have even have saw coming. This is just devastating. But we love you, blink-182 loves you. We will see you soon.”
