With blink-182’s first show back with Tom DeLonge fast approaching on March 11, Travis Barker has announced that he’s getting surgery immediately.

The drummer previously shared that he’d injured his ring finger twice in February, with the first incident occurring during rehearsals, where he dislocated and tore the ligaments in his ring finger.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, February 27, Travis posted that he would be undergoing surgery tomorrow, showing a video in which he is getting his finger put back in place. He also shared a couple of photos of the damage, and his fingers in a brace.

Everyone at Kerrang! wishes you all the best with the surgery, Travis.

blink-182’s first show back with Tom will take place on March 11 in Tijuana. The band have also been working on a new record, which the frontman calls “the best album we’ve ever made”.
