More than 30 photos of Nine Inch Nails, captured by Jonathan Rach on the band’s Self Destruct Tour, will be on show at London’s Behind The Gallery next month…
Fresh from putting on Scarlet Page’s 30 exhibition, London’s Behind The Gallery have announced an upcoming Nine Inch Nails showcase.
Jonathan Rach: Nine Inch Nails, The Downward Spiral Exhibition will run from October 16 – 20, and it’ll feature more than 30 photos of the band from their Downward Spiral-era global tour which ran between 1994 and 1996. The gallery launched in Australia earlier this year, and will now be hitting the capital at 2 Hoxton Street, London, N1 6NU.
Jonathan shares: “To be able to show this collection of photography after some 25 years and see how fans connected to them has been such a rewarding and unexpected gift. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and showing some of the new images I’ve recently found and talking about these captured moments in music history as part of the celebration in London.”
“Our friend Jonathan Rach’s photography exhibition is celebrating his iconic photos taken during NIN’s 1994-1995 Self Destruct tour,” say NIN in a statement.
“It’s extremely exciting to be able to bring this unique collection to London, as the feedback from the Australian show was something special and it great for the UK Nine Inch Nails community to get to experience it,” adds Behind The Gallery’s Creative Director, Stephen Dallimore. “This is an insight into a pivotal moment in the band’s career and Jonathan was there to capture all of it, before the days of social media. It’ll be a special event for the fans and collectors, this is not to be missed!”
