Reading & Leeds add over 80 new artists, including Waterparks
A whole bunch more bands and artists have been confirmed for 2025’s Reading & Leeds line-up, including a Main Stage slot for Waterparks.
Before they hit Reading & Leeds’ main stages next month, Waterparks have kicked off their long-awaited new chapter with typically honest single RED GUITAR.
Waterparks are back! The trio – vocalist/guitarist Awsten Knight, drummer Otto Wood and guitarist Geoff Wigington – have unveiled a brand-new single.
Entitled RED GUITAR, it’s a typically candid and incredibly catchy return from the band, with Awsten enthusing: “This is the first song back from the best band in the world, Waterparks.
“After a year of trials and tribulations, we have arisen from the smoke, like Captain America – maybe Iron Man instead. I haven’t seen most of those movies. However Infinity War ended, probably. RIP Ant Man.
“This is the best song from a band in the last 10 years, ask anyone,” he continues. “Either this song or the next one will be our biggest one, again, ask anyone. RIP Iron Man. Stream the song until we make physicals and then go buy one of those. It’s a plaque attack, baby. I love you. God help us all. Thanks!”
Do as he says, and then catch Waterparks live at Reading & Leeds next month.
