Watch Foo Fighters' Earliest-Known Live Footage From 1995

It's incredible to think that Foo Fighters turn 25 this year. The rock powerhouse are as relevant as ever, and yet it sometimes feels as though they've been around longer than any band on the planet. Now, in conjunction with that anniversary, the earliest-known live footage of Foo Fighters, performing in Seattle in 1995, has surfaced.

The video, available on the FooFightersLive account, shows the band playing at the Velvet Elvis Arts Lounge in Seattle, Washington, in 1995. Not only is the set-up of the show kind of novel -- you just can't have concerts like this anymore -- but seeing a fresh-faced young Dave Grohl fronting the band will make all rock fans put a hand over their heart.

"Foo Fighters performed at the Velvet Elvis Arts Lounge Theater on March 4th 1995, and soon after it was believed among fans that a video existed, but it had never surfaced," explains the caption under the video. "Until now. The original video had no audio due to a technical error so an also new secondary audio source has been dubbed over the video. Owing to time constraints making this 25th anniversary date the sync is not perfect, but it's pretty close.

"Credits for the video and audio recording go to Travis Stanley and Ryan Fox respectively, whilst transferring and editing was carried out by Nick Serra, Rob Landis and FooFightersLive.com

"Please enjoy this crazy early Foo Fighters video (fourth ever show!) and please share freely with other fans. If you do re-share the video, we only ask that the credits remain."
