Pittsburgh hardcore outfit Code Orange – whose Forever LP of January is one of the year’s essentials, frankly – put in a pair of memorable performances at WWE’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III on August 19.
The band opened the night with their track Bleeding In The Blur, to some appreciative moshing – the song was announced as the event’s official theme back in July.
Later, they played a live version of Aleister Black’s intro music – complete with vocals from Incendiary frontman Brendan Garrone, whose tones grace the original version of the track, in use since Black adopted his none-more-metal entrance earlier this year.
The Dutch wrestler won his singles match, against Japanese opponent Hideo Itami. As he should, really, given the intimidating power of his arrival in the arena. Check it out below.
