While we so often see BABYMETAL’s shows as gloriously epic and bombastic, the duo have done a striking new stripped-back performance of Monochrome for THE FIRST TAKE.

As the name suggests SU-METAL and MOAMETAL’s new video of Monochrome was shot and recorded in just a single take, and hears the pair beautifully sing THE OTHER ONE single over a gorgeous piano.

And it even helps hammer home the meaning of the track, with SU-METAL recently telling Kerrang! how much the lyric ‘No matter long the night the morning will arrive’ means to her.

“It has been a long night for all of us. For us, it was difficult to perform live and even meet people,” she says. “Some people are still fighting through this difficult situation. But everyone is gradually returning back into their daily lives. I want to encourage people to keep their chin up and have faith that a brighter future will come even if the sky is pitch black.”
